Moraa is a Kisii word which means ‘born in the shrubs’.I was born in a village called “Rigoko near Nyansiongo Tea factory.”Nyansiongo “means a place of plenty. This place was a settlement scheme at first but later was inhabited by Kisii migrants. The word “Rigoko ” means a place that when we had heavy rains they would sweep away all the soil into the depression.
